Legal
Privacy on this website
This policy covers www.deepanchor.eu — the site you are on. The app has its own, more detailed policy; it is linked below.
The German version is the original
This is a translation of Datenschutz auf dieser Website. Where the two differ, the German text is the original one — and one of them is then wrong. Please tell us at the address below; we would rather correct it than rely on this note.

What happens when you visit this site
As with any website visit, your browser transmits technical information to the server this site is stored on: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the transfer status and the volume of data transferred, the page you came from, and details of your browser and operating system. Without it the site cannot be delivered to you.
The server records this information in a log file. The addresses in it are stored in truncated form: for IPv4 the final number is dropped, for IPv6 everything from the fourth block onwards. The operator of the data centre rotates the files continuously and removes them after about eight weeks. We do not analyse these logs to learn anything about individual visitors, and we do not combine them with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Who operates the server
The webspace for this site is operated by united-domains GmbH, Starnberg, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with this provider. The servers are located in Germany; operating this site involves no transfer to a country outside the European Union.
No cookies, no tracking, nothing from third-party servers
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It embeds no fonts, maps, videos or scripts from third-party servers — everything that loads comes from the same server as the page. There are no tracking pixels, no audience measurement and no analytics tool. That is why you see no consent banner here: nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to display the page (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
If you write to us
There is no contact form on this site; an email address is given. If you write to us, we process your message and the information it contains in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We keep the message for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up questions, and delete it afterwards — unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
Links to the App Store and Google Play
The download buttons on this site are ordinary links. Nothing is transmitted to Apple or Google before you click one of them — the buttons are generated on our own server and no image or script is loaded from theirs. If you follow a link, you leave this site; from that point the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.
Encrypted transmission
This site is transmitted exclusively in encrypted form (HTTPS). You can tell from
the address, which begins with https://, and from the security indicator your
browser shows next to it.
The app has its own policy
What happens to your content inside DeepAnchor — the encryption on your device, conversations with a coach or with the AI coach, reminders, purchase and deletion — is set out in the app’s privacy policy. It is more detailed than this page and is the authoritative one for everything you do in the app.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where we base processing on a legitimate interest, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Please use the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia — under its official German name Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen — Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
What does not happen
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling on this website. No data is sold to third parties or passed on for advertising. There is no obligation to provide us with data — apart from the technical information without which a page cannot be delivered.
Version of this policy: 19 August 2026. If anything about the website changes — an analytics tool, a contact form, an embedded font — this policy changes with it.
